Martyn Wade's play about Emily Bronte parallels her life at Haworth with a dramatic reconstruction of Gondal, her epic fantasy world set on a Pacific island from which the ideas for 'Wuthering Heights' evolved. Using her family as inspiration, Emily Bront is writing the saga of the inhabitants of the fictional Pacific island of Gondal.
The play features a talented cast including Nathaniel Parker as Fernando, Janet Maw as Emily Bront, and Diana Quick as Augusta, among others. Directed by Cherry Cookson, this production brings to life the rich narrative and characters inspired by Brontë's imagination.
