Miss Pickering is an elderly lady living alone in a remote house, willing to take in paying guests. However, when she puts this advertisement in the paper, she has an ulterior motive. The four gentlemen who reply also have their own hidden agendas.

This gripping crime drama by R.D. Wingfield features a talented cast including Norman Shelley, Jonathan Scott, Peter Woodthorpe, and more. Directed at BBC Bristol by John Cardy, this production first aired on BBC Radio 4 in June 1977.

Great production and great writing. Sound is superb and love the story and the characters. The twists were great too. Must find a pdf of this somewhere otherwise I will transcribe it for our drama group to perform. Great little Village Drama Mystery.
