I found the original reader to be engaging and paced at a suitable rate to be able to follow the story, but it sounds like a completely different reader on chapter 4. Whoever takes over absolutely rushes through the reading as fast as they can, is unclear, and doesn't reflect any of the emotions in the book.

Second reader incoherent

First few chapters are easy to understand and engaging. Then someone else takes over and you can barely understand what they’re saying. They rush through, mumble, and maybe have a bit of an accent. Love Librivox and appreciate volunteers time, but they need some kind of quality check in place.
