Bold Venture
Sunken Spanish Gold
by
Bold Venture is an adventure series set in Havana, where American adventurer Slate Shannon and his partner, Sailor Duval, operate a hotel and become entangled in danger and intrigue. Their contrasting personalities—Shannon’s cool confidence and Sailor’s lively, resourceful spirit—give the stories their central spark.
The program blends action, mystery, and romance, following the pair through encounters with suspicious strangers, risky schemes, and trouble that reaches their hotel. The episode title, “Sunken Spanish Gold,” suggests a treasure-centered adventure, with the series’ familiar mix of suspense and colorful Caribbean atmosphere.
With its dramatic narration, sound effects, and brisk radio storytelling, Bold Venture offers a vivid escape into a world of tropical settings and high-stakes escapades. Shannon and Sailor’s partnership keeps the adventure grounded in character as well as action.
