An Incredible Story

(5 stars)

I have never experienced an old author writing of faith in such a personable and mature way. I wish it had taken a little more time at the end; it made the rest of it feel rather prolonged by contrast. Nevertheless quite enjoyed it. A very moving predicament. (I feel like no one would bother to show that much self-restraint anymore!) And very well read. Bridget, you made the cadence of Diana's voice fit the character perfectly! Excited to try more by this author.

First book of this author I read and I am really impressed. Want more. A touching story which shows how God can help you, no matter the problem, when you really trust Him and let Him works. Basil and Diana are good examples. Excellent reader.

Good story

shows the strength of Christ when He is fully leaned upon. Diana finally experienced full victory when she allowed Christ to do His work. Basil, her husband, was a pinnacle of grace and a great strength to his wife.

Will she ever love her husband?! The stubbornness of Diana to not share with her husband her thoughts and feelings is the only frustrating part of this story generally. How a woman like Diana could be brought up by a woman like her mother is also a mystery. Good insights on matters pertaining to an interfaith life are to be gleaned.

loved it

I totally believe in God's power and this is such an amazing story you can look at it as a parable if you want that teaches the truth about God what a beautiful story

And I thought NOBODY was good...

At work in tears examining my on relationship with Christ with deeper understanding of sacrifice, trust, surrender and that peace which surpasseth all understanding in all situations. Best read EVER!!!!
