This is the second book of the much loved Elsie Dinsmore series and starts where the first book left off. Elsie is still recuperating from her weakness, with her kind and indulgent father by her side.

The story revolves around how a strong bond of love and understanding takes root between the father and daughter, as they holiday at Roselands, and visit exciting places, with some of our favorite friends from the first book, Mr. Travilla, Adelaide, Chloe, Lora and the others. Great Book!

(5 Sterne)

if you're looking for a book of all ages that will point to Jesus, this is it!!! the struggles Elsie has are ones all of us Christians have! Great book!

Still one of my favorites!

(5 Sterne)

I’ve listened to this so many times and it always feels like the first time!

Love this book!

(5 Sterne)

I really enjoyed this book! I have almost the whole collection, but I love listening to them!

Child abuse !!

(0,5 Sterne)

'Papa' would be in jail if he tried that stuff these days !!

(0,5 Sterne)

I don’t know about you, but this does not feel like a Christian book. The way the author depicts Elsie’s father is just horrible. I get it he’s a young father. But in all seriousness, I have never met a single man that’s like this unless he’s a really bad person. It feels like all the Elsie Dinsmore books have no rhyme or reason they are so a illogical an exaggerated.

Elsie is a Raycyst

(4,5 Sterne)

Elsie never acknowledged her complicity is oppressing Black Indigenous Persons Of Color. Also she appropriates the name of a cow and other Bovine culture. Jeff Bezos need to ban this pallogocentric ode to European cultural imperialism. Shun Shun all things not conveyed to us through the corporate gate keepers

(5 Sterne)

Great book ,but it seems that Elsie had more sense than her father 27 year old ,it seems that he was acting more like an 8 year child than Elsie.

Amusing

(5 Sterne)

Amusing readers. Amusing heroine. A -not always amusing- father who’s daughter almost died on his own account, then turned Christian, equals an Amusing book
