Bedtime Tales: Stories for the Wayward and Churlish
Dar Qwynd
Read by Dar Qwynd
Stumble into the dark imagination of Dar Qwynd with these quirky shorts that thrill, chill, and mildly titillate-if you are in that sort of mood, of course.
The bites and bits of oddity include:
"The Sitter" - An obnoxious suburban princess is called by the darkness that bulges beyond the world to claim her terrible birthright. Does she answer the call?
"Blankie" - A delightfully morbid tale of a boy-child and his favorite blankie from the void that would drive grown men mad.
"The Bayou" - A story of a bayou rumored to capture lost souls that finally peaks the curiosity of a roving band of miscreant youths. Pulled by strings of happen-such and circumstance, the band's fate will leave you wondering...

Dark and creepy new children's fairy tales (not intended for children). Great descriptive imagery and vocabulary! Great voices, sound effects, and dramatic music! I enjoyed all four stories, especially "The Butterfly." I'm not a fan of the introduction before each story though. Overall THUMBS UP! Keep 'em comin'.
fantastic book, the sitter is by far one of the best.
