Josh Corwood has spent his life admiring the superheroes that protect Siegel City. He's wanted to join them, wanted to be like them... but eventually, had to settle for reporting on them from the sidelines. When an undiscovered talent reignites his hope to join the world's protectors, he suddenly discovers that their world isn't everything he'd been led to believe. Surrounded by false idols, Josh decides to turn the tables on them and reveal the greatest con game in history... and hopefully, in the process, find the real heroes that have long been gone.

Great story! It's the little boys dream and the comic nerds night mare. And it hurts a bit. I loved the voice work and the story all the way. I seriously listened to it start to Finnish with 4 hours sleep in between.... And I have a toddler! I will give more stars for more of it! More more more!

The best and most original super hero story I've ever come across. I especially enjoyed the nod to the origins of The Flash, Batman, and Superman (Well, Jonathan Kent anyway) in the final chapter

Very enjoyable. At first I had concerns. The reading pace. Is very fast. During the first two episodes I almost set it aside, but then I became used to it and started really enjoying the story and presentation. The only other notable sound issue is email or other notifications. On ...

Blake, I will tell that this is a great story told in an amazing fashion. The pacing is on the spot and the twist at the ending is well done. I will be reviewing this book for our podcast and I will be giving it high praise. I look forward ...

Wow! Aside from the good writing (I laughed out loud at the situations and so many of your lines - well, until it got hairy), what impressed the hell out of me is your reading of the story. How are you able to keep track of which voice goes with ...

This is a really great book. The pacing, in particular, was great. After the first couple of episodes each one left me itching to download the next, until the end. Will wait until November to listen to the Christmas title, andI hope Mr. Petit continues to produce podiobooks!

A truly excellent super hero adventure that incorporates a Pro Wrestling type mythos into a believable super hero world. The ideas are fresh and the plot, truly twisty without being contrived. I was truly surprised in places. I'm looking forward to more books by this author.
