The sun sets. The moon rises. And the night howls...

The people in the foothills town of Black Diamond are thrilled to hear of government plans for commercial development of the Kananaskis Parklands. With three world-class ski resorts within an hour’s drive, everyone is going to get rich! But The Fellowship, a colony of “nature nuts” who live to the immediate west of Black Diamond, are effectively stalling the government’s plans. Hostilities escalate when a hitch-hiker is brutally slaughtered just outside of town...

Shape Shifters--a werewolf tale with NO vampires.

I posted this review on iTunes, and rather than typing the same thing all over again, I'm going to cut and paste. :) Ok, so let me start off by saying that i'm very impressed. I first heard about this book when listening to another author's podcast novel. Seconds in ...

well structured but a bit predictable

(4 stars)

the story was pretty good but it was some parts predictable as I said in the title particularly about about the wolf and the woman scene but he Tired everything all the loose ends the ending was sweet unlike the other review I didn't find most of the sex seems to be either pornographic or voyeuristic they kind of makes sense as part of the structure of the story but the dog and woman scene was probably taking a bit far apart from that seems I would have been the story 5 star and I would say to anybody else who want to listen to this don't be put off by the other reviews this is my opinion and opinions are like assholes everybody's got one

Not for me.

This story has potential to be truly average. There are several sex scenes that will appeal strongly to pubescent boys and one case of a woman having sex a werewolf while in beast form. Some of the sound effects are not intrusive or distracting. I was dissapointed with this one but I'm sure someone will enjoy it.

Interesting and different

This was a good and easy story to listen to. Sound effects cheesy at times but most of the time helped the reader feel more into the story. Easy to follow with not too many characters but some parts of the story seemed unfinished. What was the bullhorn for?

This novel is a comprehensive experience and an amazing work both within the context of its genre and without. The realism and intricacy with which it is written speak to the great amount of thought and skill devoted to its creation. Holding true to both realism and horror, there is ...

Great story Mr. Parrish! I loved the bits of scientific detail described during talks between Pasco and the medical examiner, that type of semi-realism really makes any fiction story that much more believable. A side note, the first scene of Josh in the classroom brought up some nostailgic memories LOL.

Awkward Sexual scenes

(1 stars)

This might have been a Science fiction novel of my liking were it not for the numerous sex scenes, masturbation, even bestiality! They were unnecessary & the narrative was cold voiced, nearly dead panned which made it even more difficult to hear. I'd pass on this one.

interesting to the end

An interesting story that grab you from the start and maintains your interest. The narrator has the perfect voice for delivery of the story. Off to see if I can find some other works from the same guy.
