This was shaping up to be a good continuation of the series, but then at chapter (section?) 12 the volume of the reader was just audible with my phone speaker against my ear. I would have even skipped that half hour and just filled in the story later, but then next two sections were like that as well. I'm super bummed as I was really enjoying this series.

Music ruined the book for me

(2.5 stars)

First two books intro and outro music was fine and the levels were mostly good. This one however the intro and outro changed and utterly swamps the dialogue annd is very overbearing. Then in the final part wwe switch back to the original music, great, no. We are now treated to a full on song between chapters which for me was out of place and utterly destroyed my enjoyment. Why is it so hard to understand that when listening to an audio book is what I want to hear. If I had wanted to listen to music I would have done so.

there's good and bad

(3 stars)

there are a lot of technical issues in this series. the transition music is often way too loud, edits are not completed so you will often hear the same phrase twice. it's kind of a technical mess. however, it is saved by the reader Veronica (not going to attempt her last name) as she is top notch. one last thing, it can be difficult to follow with different timelines and so many characters but it's fun

pointless.

shame too, i have been looking forward to hearing since it first came out...still no audio fix. Strange how the bumper music and ads come through loud and clear but the better part of the story the audio is all but gone. Then magically it comes back many chapters later. Not gonna bother with the "fixes below" if the author can't be arsed to normalize the audio. oh well.

Agh! The sound is a mess!

I really want to know what happened in chapters 11 through 21. Voice audio is too garbled. I can't finish a story with such a big chunk unlistenable. What happened? And who can fix it? And when? This is a 4 to 5 star story if these were fixed. Please ?!?

wtf

(2.5 stars)

I swear I can hear this narrator's tongue moving! Maybe, don't smoke Pot b4 u begin recording. Horrible voice characterization on your part as well. Just a sloppy job on a mediocre book.

starting at chapter 11 the audio is so poor that I had to quit. chapters 12 and 13 are just as bad so I saw no sense in continuing the book.

starts out good. last half short unrelated stories
