V and A Shipping

Read by J.R. Murdock

(4.5 stars; 289 reviews)

Vic and Argmon are just trying to make a simple delivery, albeit while being chased by the local fuzz. They pick up an unexpected stowaway on their planet to planet run.

Joey, the unwitting stowaway, is thrust into space and must deal with not only being in space, but with all the alien creatures aboard the SS Acid Rat.

Once the delivery is complete, Vic, Argmon, and their new crewmate Joey, are offered a double or nothing gamble to pick up a second delivey for the celebration party. They must return to Planchar in twenty-four standard hours with a shipment of beer.

It sounds so simple, perhaps too simple.

For those that have waited so long, I'm finally going to start the sequel for V&A Shipping for NaNoWriMo 2012. We'll have to see how quickly I can get it done and out into the world! Thank you all for the kind words over the years and thank you for ...

a very cool story well-written

I really enjoyed the story had some very good twists and turns some very comedic points at some point said it it seemed kind of familiar and then when the BT Justice character first name turned out to be Buford that's when it hit me that it has several points that where it matches with Smokey and the Bandit it doesn't take away from the story which I actually thought it was pretty cool there's that was one of my favorite movies growing up and I do look forward to reading the upcoming books in the story line and I do hope that there are several thank you very much for your hard work and a very good story

Was reluctant to listen, but ended up loving it.

After reading the plot, I was pretty reluctant to listen, but did anyway. Now I'm a fan. Mr Murdock you are a talented and entertaining writer and a great I reader might add. Keep up the good work.

Great book! I hope to hear more of the adventures of V & A Shipping. I really love a well written space opera and I particularly liked your voices for the different characters. I'll be watching for more of your work. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the story and especially the reading, the only thing was the music, I listen during my quiet time so it was a little intense but thank you so much! I hope the sequel will be available soon!

That was some great space opera. Nice work J.R.! Fun story, great characters, good differentiation on the various voices. It was pretty much a kick in the pants, and when there's no gravity, that kick sends you pretty far.

Well, it was good while it lasted. V&A Shipping goes on My list of favorite Podio Novels. The story was a fun and interesting listen. Are we going to see the crew of the Acid Rat again?
