Legitimately Hilarious

I cracked up as soon as I saw the title, more so when I heard the authors note. This is literally one of the funniest child-friendly books I've ever seen (read) [LISTENED TO???]! Story continued to crack me up whilst somehow managing the difficult feat of making me care for the main character in a Western story with unicorns in it. Thank God for you, Mr. Truant, you made my day one heck of a lot brighter... I do have one complaint, the author will stutter over his own words sometimes, and he disregards commas and periods sometimes, generally reads with little feeling, though he's shown he can read dramatically in some scenes. Overall, 9/10 (I'll round up to be nice)!

This was so funny! I loved the humor, and though there's lots of sillyness in the concept, it's pretty serious after all. Built like a true western - just with unicorns, pink smoke and stuff. Oh, and how I laughed at the "fruity magic" part. That was brilliant! Well done, ...

I'm not a huge fan of traditional westerns so I didn't go into this book with high expectations, but I really feel in love with the world and the quirky humour. I'm litterally listening to "Fat Vampire" as I'm writing this and I'm enjoying it even more than I did ...
Good twist on old style

This was a good twist on old style westerns. I love Louis Lamour, and I think this is about what would happen if he wrote fanciful, magical, westerns.
