Perfection

(5 stars)

Interesting characters, selfless affection, wrongs righted through goodness of character and a strong Christian faith that all things are possible to a loving God. An uplifting romance, sweet, clean, and not sensual. the story was beautifully read with characterizations that were absolutely perfect. This is one of my favorite authors and the narrator did it complete justice polishing every softly sparkling facet to perfection. I sincerely hope she will bring more of Claire Louise Burnham's work to light.

sweet story

(5 stars)

A story such as is seldom told these days of another time. Kindness and Christian goodness rescue an abused boy from a greedy and drunken guardian. True love unfolds slowly to a happy ending for all but the wicked. Not overly sentimental, but wholesome. I liked it!
