Not one of my favorite narrators
Ms. Elizabeth
2019 - yearly Le Queux marathon. This year I noticed so many irritating mistakes. It was hard to stay focused on the story. I still believe there is potential for this narrator if more effort is put into it. As for the story, this heroine is the least likable of all the stories I've listened to. She takes after her father who is also weak.
Disappointing

The story is like most of the other novels by this author but the story was spoiled somewhat by the reader's consistent mispronounciation of many words and the stilted breaking of sentences in totally the wrong place. In my humble opinion if you don't know how to pronounce place names then it is only polite to learn how to say them.

The story is long and drawn out. I was listening to it while working on head phones, there's quite a bit of distracting noise in the background. maybe you can only hear it that way. I was glad it was finally over.
A great story!
