Awesome!

Excellent ghost story collection to listen to in a cozy room with fireplace ablaze, snow outside, and hot tea and cookies ready. The excellent reader makes the gem of this work shine even brighter!

Brilliant! I must say I was spooked enough with one of stories to have to turn the nightlight on :) But David Wales is definitely one of my favourite readers and I wound give up the listening. I often do my book searches by inputting his name. Thanks David, and please keep them coming!

Excellent book

I enjoyed this book. It's great to listen to on cold, rainy nights.

Unlistenable

I could stand to go only as far as halfway into the first story and just sample the next three, but what I could absorb in store of the insufferable reader suggests that they are interesting and well-written. However, the reader is among the worst I've heard in all the many reasons I've listened to on Librivox. His manner is stilted and mechanical, in a monotone that I daresay suggests a learning disability. I shall look for another reading of what might be an excellent collection but from this reader is unlistenable.
