a wonderful entertaining story. It is a little similar to Veronica decided to die by Paolo Coelo

love this story! Lucy Maud's best read! some was a little hard to understand.
Botched reading

Penelope
So first I love this book which is why I listened to it. But after listening to this botched audio, maybe I'll just read my physical copy. For instance "Methodist" was pronounced "meTHOdist," "islets" as "izluts," "sew" as "soo," "clergy" as "clerghy," and the name of the main character (Valancy) was pronounced four different ways. Surely one pronunciation is enough?? Librivox, isn't there any quality control before a book is added to the list of titles???? Or how about at least giving each reader a list of correct pronunciations of characters and places so there is some sort of harmonious connection between the different readers so the listeners can actually enjoy the book?? I gave the two stars for the few decent readers I did find in this audio.
Good Book!

The 4 stars are for the book with one star taken off for the readers. It’s too hard to try to adjust to new voices all the time. The readers themselves were pretty good, but I thought it would be better if only one person did the whole book!
A Favourite

Wendy L
This is my favourite of all L.M. Montgomery's books. It is not one that she meant for children. It's a great story of someone who decides to make the most of the rest of their life. Thank you to all of the readers!
Favorite LMM novel

Anna Echols
The Blue Castle has always been my favorite LM Montgomery book. I love cheering on the main character like in the author's other novels, but there are also deep and mature thoughts conveyed in this story. Thank you volunteers for the reading!

Excellent little book. Love to watch the soaring of a free spirit! Read by several Librivox volunteers which I am usually not a fan of, but for the most part, the book flowed freely and it was an enjoyable listen!
Truly entertaining

Lily
A truly entertaining book in the riveting LMM style. A lovely story with a happy ending, amusing character studies and a nice twist...generally well read by volunteers (Thank you readers!). Who can ask for more?
