This book is as it says fun ride. The story is written in first person from Roberta’s view point. The characters do not discover her gender till the end. She uses her disguised gender to her advantage to learn details about a plan to stop supplies from reaching France. The reason for her concealed gender is plausible and the story was fun to listen to though at some times confusing. The only bit of Romance is near the end of the story it is the type where the characters in love say that they enjoyed each other’s company so much and now I discovered you are a girl have fallen in love. Dissatisfied with romantic intrigue loved yet even so I read it till the end and can say I enjoyed it.
