Such an important contributor to the American cultural scene. Radio entertainment taken to the nth degree. Someone else said that Jean Shepherd uses words the way a jazz musician uses notes. Listening to this and his show about the Red Rider BB gun is a great way to spend any holiday.

One of the best story tellers ever.

Sadly there'll never be another Jean Shepherd. This form of entertainment is a lost art and not very many people could top Jean.
