In Joe O'Byrne's poignant radio play, Fish Climbing Trees, we meet Clara, a stand-up artist whose name means clear and bright, yet her life is anything but. Performing in a late-night cabaret, she faces the challenges of her day job in a psychiatric facility, where the lines blur between being a carer and a client.

As Clara navigates her complex world, she encounters Mike, who believes he is Leonardo, and together they explore her true colors. The play features a talented cast, including Claire Barrettt as Clara and Peter Daly as Mike/Leonardo, with additional performances by Paul Ronan, Stephen Jones, Joe Taylor, Deirdre Monahan, and Kathy Rose O'Brien. The production, under the sound supervision of Richard McCullough, brings to life the intricate dynamics of Clara's existence.
