In Silver Mist, a captivating drama by Michael Robson, we follow the story of Hugh Dargan, a talented but struggling young composer who is newly married to Anna. They have settled in the idyllic Edwardian seaside village of Cricket Magna. Despite his gentle nature, Hugh finds himself consumed by distress and fury when his old friend and rival composer, Edmund Poel, moves to the same village.
As tensions rise, Anna struggles to understand Hugh's emotional turmoil. The production features music specially composed and directed by Anthony Smith, with performances by Colin Baker as Hugh Dargan, Angela Phillips as Anna Dargan, and Patrick Malahide as Edmund Poel, among others.
