A group of Russian exiles believes they have discovered a way to claim the fortune held in the name of the late Tsar Nicholas II.

To do so, they must prove that the Grand Duchess Anastasia, the youngest daughter of the Tsar, is still alive. This gripping tale is brought to life with a talented cast, including Wendy Hiller as the Empress Marie and Alan Wheatley as Prince Bounine, among others.
