The story follows Jess Tyler, who, after being left by his two-timing wife, remains alone on his farm, growing corn and attending church. Nearly twenty years later, a young woman arrives with a suitcase, sparking an immediate attraction between them.

However, the young woman is revealed to be Jess's daughter, Kady, or is she? The mystery surrounding her identity hinges on a butterfly birthmark that could settle the question for good. This tale of revenge, murder, and forbidden love is adapted by Adrian Bean and directed by Kate McAll.
