Liam Murray Brothers The play tells the story of two brothers, both of whom live with their elderly mother. Dennis has ambitions to make it big as a cartoonist. Gerry is more concerned with where the next beer - or scam -  is coming from. When Gerry interferes with Dennis' bid to impress a visiting cartoonist from a major New York firm, the brothers end up on a  collision course.
