Robin Glendinning Shooting At The Moon

(5 étoiles; 2 critiques)

Shooting at the Moon by Robin Glendinning tells the story of Robert Hart, who has seemingly "gone native" to his fellow Europeans. As the Manchu dynasty teeters on the brink of collapse, the Empress Dowager seeks Hart's voice of tolerance amidst the rampant imperial greed of the colonial powers.

This production features a talented cast including Alec McCowen as Sir Robert Hart, Paul Panting as Hart Junior, and Jacqui Chan as The Dowager Tzu Hsi, among others. The drama was directed by Eoin O'Callaghan and aired on BBC Radio 4 FM.
