J. Jefferson Farjeon
Read by czandra
A thriller about a down-and-out sailor finding his way in London. The book followed a successful play that was filmed by Alfred Hitchcock, and even made into a silent film. Its humour is irresistible. - Summary by Czandra (5 hr 36 min)

A dated story line

i enjoyed the humour but this is one of those golden age mysteries that has not stood the test of time. Five stars for the narration though.
Delightful and funny!

Close your eyes and this reader brings all the characters to life with this well written, humorous, twisty-turny story. What a delight!
