A telegraph operator meets a mysterious stranger 'on the wire'. Throw in the most clumsy gent in literature, a stern matron, an actress with a mysterious past and a whole lot of Charlotte Russes and bear grease, and you have a most romantic of comedies. - Summary by The Reader (5 hr 5 min)

Give It A Listen!

(5 stars)

Really sweet and light romance about two telegraph operators. The narrator did voices but I thought he did a very good job and it made the tale more enjoyable. This is a great story to listen to while doing the dishes or house cleaning. Will listen to it again.
