Skylark Three
Gelesen von Phil Chenevert
In Skylark Three, E. E. “Doc” Smith continues the spacefaring adventures begun in The Skylark of Space, carrying its explorers into a conflict on a galactic scale. The story pits human ingenuity against forces and technologies far beyond ordinary experience.
A work of early space opera, the novel builds its adventure around scientific invention, interstellar travel, and escalating clashes between powerful opponents. Its emphasis is on bold ideas and ever-larger confrontations rather than intimate realism.
Readers looking for classic pulp science fiction will find a fast-moving continuation of the series, with the imaginative reach and expansive battles that helped define the genre.

Classic space opera. The non-PC elements are counterbalanced by the diversity of aliens included in the league of civilization.

Too many magical super powers and the same bad guy with no motive.
