As usual GLH gives us a solid well rounded narrative. Excellent reader!

Typical GLH. Thank you Reader, especially for your singing!

One of her more memorable stories

I remembered this book, from many years ago, chiefly for the house-moving scene! GLH's Depression-era books are always fascinating for their detailed descriptions of the ways people "made do", and this one also includes an excellent recipe for baking ham. ...And then there is the crackerjack story...

sweet story

A well read , well rounded story. Loved the little house, it made for such a sweet listen. The legal stuff made no sense and would never have held ground in real life, but suited the story I guess. Overall an enjoyable read and great narrator. Lovely that she sang the hymnes for us.

OH, SO GOOD

Excellent Read

This is a fascinating book! It's a typical novel - everything turns out ok for the main character in the end. But GLH keeps you listening. The narrator is amazing!

Ably read by Emily Grace who also shared her sweet singing voice. This was an engaging story, as are, I am discovering, all of Grace Livingston Hill's books.

This was an enjoyable GLH book. Reader’s narration is a pleasure to listen to, not to mention her lovely singing. Please do more!
