A Marigold Miscellany
by Various
Read by Newgatenovelist
Marigold Miscellany gathers poems about the marigold, bringing together verse written across several centuries, from the 17th through the 20th.
The collection offers a focused look at how poets have taken up a single flower as a subject. Its range of dates gives listeners a chance to hear different voices and periods in conversation, while the marigold remains the thread connecting the poems.
