Information Please is a radio quiz and discussion program built around questions from listeners. A panel of knowledgeable guests takes on queries spanning subjects such as history, literature, science, and current affairs, while host Clifton Fadiman guides the conversation.

The pleasure of the program lies in hearing the panel reason through questions aloud. Answers may come quickly, emerge through debate, or prompt a lively exchange of facts and opinions. The format combines the curiosity of a quiz with the spontaneity of an intelligent conversation, making the guests’ personalities part of the entertainment.
