The Adventures of Philip Marlowe

The Torch Carriers

English

Philip Marlowe is the hard-boiled private detective at the center of this radio series, bringing his sharp instincts and dry wit to cases shaped by danger, deception, and the shadowy corners of Los Angeles.

Each installment unfolds as a dramatic mystery, with Marlowe following clues, questioning suspects, and navigating the complications that gather around a case. The radio format makes atmosphere part of the investigation: dialogue, narration, and sound effects evoke streets, offices, and other settings as the story develops.

The series blends crime-solving with the mood of classic noir, balancing suspense with Marlowe’s wry, unsentimental perspective. It offers a compact, character-led listening experience for fans of detective fiction and radio drama.
