The Milton Berle Show
Salute to Wall Street
by
The Milton Berle Show stars comedian Milton Berle in a lively variety program built around his energetic comic persona. Berle’s performance is the center of the show, bringing broad humor and quick changes of character to a radio format that blends comedy with entertainment.
Rather than following a single continuing story, the program offers a succession of comic material and variety-show moments. This installment is identified as a salute to Wall Street, giving its broadcast a topical theme while keeping the focus on Berle’s humor and the show’s variety format.
The result is a spirited snapshot of postwar radio comedy, with Berle’s exuberant delivery providing the main attraction. Listeners can enjoy the contrast between the Wall Street theme and the playful, performance-driven style of a classic comedy-variety broadcast.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
