On a Note of Triumph: Rebroadcast
por
A Day of Victory presents On a Note of Triumph, a radio documentary created to mark the Allied victory in Europe during World War II. The program reflects on the end of the war in Europe and the human cost of the conflict, bringing together narration, recorded voices, and music to convey the scale of the moment.
Rather than unfolding as a fictional drama, the broadcast uses documentary storytelling to move between public celebration and the experiences of people affected by the war. Its rebroadcast offers listeners a chance to hear a carefully assembled radio tribute to victory and remembrance, shaped by the solemnity and relief of the occasion.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
