Adventures of the Abbotts
The Fabulous Emerald Necklace
by
Pat and Jean Abbott are a husband-and-wife team of private detectives whose cases bring them into contact with crime, deception, and danger. Their partnership combines Pat’s investigative instincts with Jean’s intelligence and resourcefulness, making the Abbotts a capable pair as they follow clues and work toward solving each mystery.
The Adventures of the Abbotts is a dramatic radio mystery series, presented through dialogue and sound rather than a single narrator’s account. Its stories center on investigations and the people, motives, and secrets uncovered along the way. The title “The Fabulous Emerald Necklace” points to a mystery involving a valuable piece of jewelry.
The series offers classic detective storytelling, with the Abbotts’ teamwork at its heart. Listeners can settle into a self-contained case and follow the clues as the couple pursues its solution.
