Music by Kostelanetz
As Long as I Live
by
Music by Kostelanetz presents orchestral music led by Andre Kostelanetz, the conductor known for bringing popular melodies and familiar concert works to radio audiences. The program offers a polished musical performance rather than a spoken drama, with the orchestra at the center of the listening experience.
“As Long as I Live” identifies the music featured in this broadcast. Kostelanetz’s radio programs were shaped around accessible arrangements and expressive orchestral playing, making well-known tunes inviting while giving them the color and sweep of a full ensemble.
The result is a graceful, easy-to-follow musical interlude, suited to listeners who enjoy classic orchestral radio and melodic arrangements. The broadcast’s appeal lies in hearing a familiar song presented with the warmth and refinement of Kostelanetz’s orchestra.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
