I will listen to anything read by Roger Melin.
The Best of Curwood

The Momtionary
And one of the best of Roger Melin's. In this sad and insane 21st century, it's hard to imagine that the arts of the English speaking world held to its now-bygone morals and ideals as staunchly as David Carrigan. Yet here is the true fascination for modern readers, and a welcome antidote for "fake news," among other ills.
wow! just wow!

An author new to me who can so perfectly evoke a landscape, a person, an emotion, who can construct a complicated story line effortlessly. Great writing and wonderful reader. Highly recommend.
great book

While listening to the first chapter I wasn't sure if I would continue with this book. However, once the elaborate description of the North Lands was over, the story began. I loved the suspense and mystery. Just when I thought I figured it out, the author would show me to be wrong. Roger Melin is just a great reader and was perfect for this book.
good story

This is a good tale of the great North and the great hearted men snd women who peopled it the pioneer days. A mountie sets off after a resurrected fugitive from the law. He gets shot, spends a long time confused, finally sort of gets his man, but everything comes out well in the end.
A simply elegant tale told beautifully.

I couldn’t stop listen. At the end of each chapter I would say to myself “1 more”. I would happily listen again. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know that uses this app. Thank you so much. I wish LibriVox had a feature to donate to authors and storytellers.
