The Star of Gettysburg

The Army of Northern Virginia, still victorious after three hard years of fighting, capitalize on their victories at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville, and a young Harry Kenton, is an eyewitness to the Confederate invasion of the north, culminating in the epic three-day struggle at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where Robert E. Roughout

Such a tragedy and struggle! This reminds me of the battles in The Book of Mormon , also fought in the Eastern US where many 10s of thousands die in battle.

loved the reading, not so fond of the multiple readers and mispronounced landmarks, such as the Rappahannock , Antietam, and Potomac ....still a good listen

Some readers are terrific but there is one who reads like an elementary school student...the words are read correctly but the meaning behind the words is gravely missing. Might as well be reading a sing-song lullaby to a sleepy toddler. The material is meaningful, the listening (to this one reader)can induce headaches. Of course this one reader reads the most pivotal chapters...ugh.
