Intrigue, Subterfuge, & an Adventurous Rogue

(5 stars)

Our less than stellar Hero, the irrepressible Arséne Lupin, is working against near insurmountable odds to see the innocent free & the guilty, sans himself, punished in this book, expertly read by our Cathy Barratt. Win/Win combination,,,

Terrific Adventure

(5 stars)

Another exciting tale of the ever so smart Arsène Lupin, with great odds, never in his favor, being overcome through sheer wit & cunning. The LibriVox volunteer, Cate Barratt is far and away, my favorite narrator, with a soothing voice and perfect English and French pronunciation, in this book. Her Latin's great as well, by the way. I truly enjoyed this story.

More Lupin Adventure Yay!

A document is needed to save the life of a beloved co-conspirator who is doomed to the gallows, and Arsine Lupin is determined to find it, but the criminal in the case seems to be a step ahead of him all the time! The criminal is also allied with the police force who are more interested in stopping Lupin than stopping him. Can Lupin find the document before it is too late? Excellent story, excellent reading. Enjoy!

marvellous

Such a great story. LeBlanc has a way of holding your attention thru all the ups and downs, testing your faith in Lupin all the way through the story. Well read by Ms. Cate

Leblanc’s master criminal at his finest and a fine reader to tell this story. Reader’s French pronunciation is the best of any LibriVox reader I’ve heard.
