Stonewall Scouts

What an amazing General He was. His Southern men doubled timed their marches to hell & back then would fight the North with the greatest ferocity. Doing these courageous acts continually, ever faithful they would & did pushing back the North. Stonewall, like Napoleon, understood what "time" was using this to his advantage. So many dead though. 20,000 to 30,000 Southern men lay dead many wounded. Such incredible loss of life...

Although I'm not a Civil War buff, I'm learning quite a bit about the chronology of the battles and strategies implemented by the different armies. The suffering and hardship endured by the soldiers is beyond my comprehension in 2023!! Well worth the listening in my opinion!

character voices

(4 stars)

If you absolutely have to do character voices (Chapter 5), then at least keep them consistent and don't constantly change them. All other narrators were amazing.

Scouts honor

Hard to tell it is not true history. Very well told. Many factual references. Great character development. You feel like you knew these people.
