Fun

(3.5 stars)

The science and theories are bad or just way out of date, but that is one of the things I love about these kinds of stories. It's always interesting hearing what people thought back then and the type of libertys taken to make these sci-fi stories. That is what makes these kind of story so much fun

ok story

Richard did a better job in reading than other books he has read but I still find it hard to listen sometimes. I do appreciate his time and efforts. The story wasn't as captivating as some but was had a good twist at the end

DID IT END?

(5 stars)

Just my kind of scifi; strange new world; strong intelligent men; strong, yet feminine women; reasonably short, but with plenty of action. Yet I am not sure that it ended; where did that last chapter come from? RK did his usual calm reading.

Burroughsian but more surreal

(3.5 stars)

Worth your time for people interested in pulp SF and Burroughs fans. Story is 4/5, narration is a little a dry so it loses half a star.

Bravo from Borneo

A delightful sci-fi story of its time...replete with bug-eyed monsters and a love interest. The narrators voice is splendid for this tale.
