Reviews

Bravo from Borneo

(3.5 stars)

I preferred this sequel to the first book, Dark Moon, as it is set predominantly on the Dark Moon itself, with our eponymous heroes engaged in a string of trials and tribulations to keep alive; quite the adventure. I actually enjoyed the narrator whose voice and delivery served well for this 1931 novel. It is a sci-fi book of its time, simply demonstrating the breadth of the genre.

Good story bad reader

Story is interesting for that Era and for the 2nd book of the series. But the reader is so monotone, never varying with emotion, event, or character. Pauses are strange. He has a nice voice. just needs some coaching to make it interesting

Brood of the Dark Moon

Long continuing story... patience and summer slow tempo make this an enjoyable listen. Read well, many thanks for the dedication and effort to bring this alive!
